Dental Examination
Your child’s first visit will begin with a friendly, caring introduction to our dental home; where lifelong relationships begin. Teeth Cleaning
I wish I had a place like this when I was a child I wouldn't be scared to death of the Dentist as an adult. Best place to bring your children. From the front desk ladies to the doc and everyone in between are amazing. I filled out the info about my son and the lady that took us back and did my sons teeth cleaning was AMAZING she talked to my son about all the things I put on the list and she made him feel so comfortable. He still talks about it. GREATEST PLACE EVER!! I wish I was a kid just so I could go there!
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride-containing compounds are used in topical and systemic fluoride therapy for preventing tooth decay. Fluoride treatment works to prevent cavities by (i) stopping the demineralization, or breakdown, of your child’s teeth, (ii) promoting the remineralization, or strengthening, of those very same teeth, and (iii) providing antibacterial effects by disrupting the enzymes used by bacteria found in plaque.
Dental Sealants
Asking your hygienist or dentist about sealant applications to protect your child’s teeth-chewing surfaces and about bottle tooth decay, which occurs when teeth are frequently exposed to sugared liquids.
Space Maintainers
Since primary teeth guide the permanent teeth into place, infants with missing primary teeth or infants who prematurely lose primary teeth may require a space maintainer, a device used to hold the natural space open. Without a maintainer, the teeth can tilt toward the empty space and cause permanent teeth to come in crooked. Missing teeth should always be mentioned to your family dentist. The way your child cares for his/her primary teeth plays a critical role in how he/she treats the permanent teeth. Children and adults are equally susceptible to plaque and gum problems—hence, the need for regular care and dental checkups.

Crowns
Recover the tooth, making sure to hold it by the crown (top) and not the root end. Rinse with saline if you have that handy, but do not clean or handle the tooth more than necessary. Reinsert the tooth in the socket and hold it in place using a clean piece of gauze or cloth. If the tooth cannot be reinserted, carry it in a cup containing milk or saliva (ie: spit). Because time is essential in the long-term prognosis of this tooth, call our office and see Dr. Jones immediately !

Orthodontics
Details: We joined with Total Orthodontics and many of our patients at The Food Bank of the Rockies on March 5th. FBR collects and distributes food to nonprofit agencies that feed those in need in Wyoming and Northern Colorado, including the Denver area.
