Mimi's Cafe

It's sad to see a favorite restaurant go downhill, and that is exactly what's happened at Mimi's. The service is still pretty good, but the food is terrible. They've dropped menu items that were fabulous, only to replace them with poor renditions of "French Food." They've cut corners and lowered the quality of menu items. An example is the chicken pot pie. It used to be wonderful, chock full of tender chicken and fresh vegetables under a flaky crust. Now, it seems as if they opened a can of generic chicken stew and flopped a piece of oily, under cooked puff pastry on top. Four of us dined there last night, and each of us had major issues with our meal. We will not be returning to Mimi's any time soon.
