Flushing Bank

It is a nightmare dealing with this bank. My mother past away leaving a checking account at FSB with just 1100.00 in it. I am the executor and received Letters from the Court appointing me. All the other banks where she had an account just issued checks to the Estate when I presented the Court Letters at the branch. FSB procedures are more complicated and require that all requests go through their legal division. They keep on asking for a non-probate small estates form to be completed when that is not appropriate for a Probated Estate with an Executor. We are still waiting for the check.

Ever since I opened this account it has been a nightmare, one problem after another, I opened with them to get a lousy $100 bonus, but it has not been worth it. First due to spelling glitches and other things I couldn't log onto the website. This went on again after being able to log on and I had to go down there in person to get it fixed. They wanted me to spend long time on phone at work and I was not pleased and even the phone person couldn't figure out why I can't log on. Anyway, so now with that behind me, I want to use my card to make an online purchase, I checked my balance, have plenty of money in my account, but my card won't go thru and being a small bank, there's no customer service at this hour and when you call the number, they just tell you to call back during regular business hours, but they neglect to tell you what those hours are. I need to know if they're open at 8am, 9am, what because I'd like to call them to fix the problem so I can place this order before work

I applied for refinancing my house for only 30% of its value. It was accepted by the bank. They proceeded to charge me $2200 for the appraisal and fees. Then hired an outside company to do so. The company completely got all the numbers wrong. As a result the loan was decreased to an obscene number that didn't make any sense to go through with. In the end, they only refunded me $350 for a loan process that seemed like a scam from the start. They make you an offer then proceed to charge you a fee, then they modify your numbers at their will and apologize to you in the end with the return of only 15% of your money. A great scam from a legitimate company. Stay away from here.
