Big Rose Construction

It went very well. It was done quickly and nicely. They clean up after themselves which is very important in my book. We had a few snafoos with the laundry room, but they rolled with the punches and got it all done to my satisfaction. I now have a very nice to look at laundry room that is usable. The outside looks like new. I love their work. I have two more jobs that I need to get done and I will call them back for it.

The owner of big rose Construction, Roger , supervised the whole job by himself. The whole job is done excellently and I am 100% satisfied. Roger and his crew are very professional and experienced in the job they done.

Raj (Owner) was very professional from beginning to end. He came and gave me an estimate and when I decided to hire. He came back wrote the contract, told me when he was coming and came on time as scheduled. The work was completed in 3 days between repairing and clean up. When I had a complaint about the fence. He returned my call promptly and told me he would come back and correct the problem, so I wouldn't have to worry. He did show up and fix the problem with no argument. He is a trustworthy person, that I would recommend to friends and family. Very reasonable prices.

Whenever he had any doubt about how something should look, he would confer with me and my husband to make sure. I would definitely hire raja for future work, it was a great experience

Raja was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to reach and always on-time (I think I kept him waiting more times than the reverse). He was also always thinking about the best way to do the project, going above and beyond as new problems came up. We've worked with plenty of contractors who just wanted to get the job done as fast as possible. Raja completed everything on time and on budget, but made sure that it was done right. Would definitely recommend.

The owner contacted me soon after I requested a quote . Sooner than expected and I had to get back to him. When we scheduled a time to get together, he came on time and was able to assess all of the issue I need to get resolved and he was willing to work with my budget and timeframe. The work was clean and well done. He sent me pictures and even held off on depositing the check until he heard that I was satisfied. Love the work quality and will be using big rose for future jobs!!

Overall everything went very smoothly. Due to the excessive rain we had to postpone the job however once we rescheduled, raja and his men were prompt and professional. I was very impressed with the way he replaced our existing steps and the tiles were installed very nicely. All work was done to my satisfaction. Thanks raj for all you did for us!

Big rose Construction Corp did an excellent job for us, for a fair price. Our basement is completely transformed. They showed up on time, did the agreed upon work in an efficient manner, finished according to schedule, and there were no haggles or hassles. It was a big job, but their work only caused minimal disruption for us. Everyone in the work crew was courteous and professional. We would definitely work with Raja again.

It went great. Raja had a break in their schedule so they came earlier than anticipated. We didn't have time to clean the basement so they moved everything away from the walls in order to work. They were quick and we are pleased with the job. Very communicative and easy to deal with.

Big rose Construction owner raja was knowledgeable, and easy to work with. On the repaving he installed re-bar to reinforce the sidewalk. Other contractors tried to convince me it was not necessary. He ended up repaving our next door neighbors sidewalk as well. Now they both look great. The work in the garage solved a problem with the slope of the entry that had resulted in water running inside. We have since had big rains--the garage floor stayed dry. After watching his work in the garage, another neighbor behind us has contracted him for work. The roof required re-coating. His work their was quick and good. They solved so puddling problems that we had with the roof. His prices were fair. His crew worked diligently. He started when he said he would and finished the jobs quickly. It was a refreshing experience in working with a contractor. I will hire him again.

I cannot recommend big rose Construction highly enough. Raja came to our house to talk about the work, explained what he thought needed doing and why, and sent us a quote within a couple of hours. From that point on, he was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. The pricing was very reasonable, and now that the work is done, we know we received an excellent value. On the first day of the job, he came with his crew to supervise the work and make sure they knew the plan. They arrived at exactly 8am every day from that point on, and they were incredibly thorough and efficient. Our basement is totally transformed, and the exterior work looks great too. It was a real pleasure working with big rose Construction, and we are looking forward to working with them again soon.

We needed our stoop top replaced and the entire stoop waterproofed. The job went very well - work began on-time and ended a bit earlier than estimated. Raja kindly explained every step of work to be done in advance and made sure that we understood and approved each one. When a layer of very old brick under the stoop was discovered and shown to be unsuitable for a modern cement covering, the workers quickly built a new layer that is much sturdier. The workers also replaced a crumbling stone border at the edge of our garden, sealed the stoop against moisture, painted the interior storerom room underneath the stoop, and removed dirt and debris. I highly recommend big rose Construction!

We had such a pleasant experience with this company. They arrived promptly at our agreed-upon time, did the work in a timely, professional manner, and they were very polite and courteous to our family! There was zero micro-managing necessary. They definitely are experts. They broke our front yard concrete, removed it, leveled/pitched the yard, poured new concrete and did all of the extra work necessary to leave us with beautiful results. Big rose Construction did an amazing job repairing my basement and waterproofing the exterior of my house after Hurricane Ida. They regraded the cement, replaced the basement doors, re-fortified and repainted the damaged basement walls and replaced the badly cracked cement on my sidewalk. They are highly responsive, they work very quickly and carefully, and above all, they care about their customers—always taking time to explain decisions and new issues as they arise. This is the second time I’ve worked with them, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent, timely service. I give the highest recommendation. There was an immense amount of remodeling and construction that was done to the exterior of my house which took about 4-5 months. Communication was clear and concise, prices were fair, work was done on time and of good quality and they maintained the property clean throughout the process. I look forward to working with them again when we remodel the interior.

This is the first time that I used raja and his excellent team at big rose Construction. The project involved repairing the stucco around my house, repaving my backyard, fixing the cellar door steps, and repairing the cellar door. The project went very well. Raja and his crew were punctual and the work they did clearly met my expectations. The project was completed within the time promised and the price was reasonable. I intend to use raja company in the future.

Raja did a renovation project for me in Brooklyn. The project included painting, refinishing floors, and remodeling bathrooms. Raja and his team did a great job and the floors look beautiful. Saif was very patient and devoted a lot of time. He even met us at Home Depot to pick out tiles. Raja also installed pavers in the front and back yards. He transformed a messy, overgrown outdoor space into a clean, modern, and welcoming yard.

This was the second time we have worked with raja and his wonderful team at big rose Construction. Last summer, right before our first child was born, they repointed the 120-year-old foundation in our basement and painted and sealed the whole thing so it would be clean and bright when we started doing lots of extra laundry for the baby. That project went great, and this one did too. This time, they cleaned up and repainted the iron fencing and window guards in the front of our house and built a set of lovely and very sturdy railings and banisters for our back deck. Raja is just a delight to work with. He's easy to communicate with, punctual, thoughtful about his approach to every detail of the job, and unlike many contractors, constantly around to make sure that the work is being done to his customers' satisfaction. We're really looking forward to working with him again in the near future.
