Pep Boys Auto Service & Tire

Worst service in recent history. Asked to have a service engine light checked & was told it would be $89+. After pointing out the (advertised) free engine light check they grudgingly ran it & gave me the result. No wonder with that attitude they were not busy at all. After displaying such laziness & misdirection from the second I walked in I wouldn't even trust them to wash bird droppings off my windshield.

I went into the service center Pep Boys on Blackwood Clementon Road 2 hours before they were closing. I had been there once before for a simple oil change, which went smoothly and quickly. I was taken right away and they let me use a coupon. The reason for this visit was that my car was making a horrible screeching sound all the time, especially when I braked. When I went in, the manager Chris, and front desk girl, Kelly, were beyond helpful! They assured me they could fix the problem, they could do it that night, and... The real thing that won me over.. They would do what they could to cut the costs. They told me if they could save the rotors they would. Chris was wonderful and put my mind at ease that my car was in good hands. Kelly and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. In the past, I have used other mechanics, all of which I left feeling dissatisfied. This trip to Pep Boys was really a breath of fresh air. Especially on Blackwood Clementon Road, you have choices, as there are quite a few other service shops... This one is the BEST. They will get you in and out ASAP, they do a fabulous job and the price is right!! 5 stars!! Great experience!!
