Headache & Pain Center

Never been treated so poorly from a doctors staff member in my life. Never actually got to see the doctor, however if he lets his staff behave and speak to potential patients like she treated me then she must learn it from somewhere. Please don't waste your time scheduling.

I was having terrible headaches...I have no history of migraines. Dr Gupta didn't listen. All he did was write prescriptions. It turned out to be a sinus infection, but HIS diagnosis was migraines and that I would have to see him "at least monthly" as they would "never go away." My ENT gave me some antibiotics and I'm fine. Shouldn't a headache specialist know what the difference is from migrains and sinus infections!!

I suffer from chronic migraines. I was optimistic about seeing Dr. Rajat Gupta at a facility that markets itself as a "Headache" (and pain) center.The facility is plush, new, and well appointed. The staff was pleasant but distant.On my first appointment with Dr. Gupta, I came prepared with a 4 page typed history. Past meds, effectiveness, and side effects, known triggers, etc. The works. I handed it to him. He never read it. He said he preferred to ask questions from his "standard" sheet. Every question he then asked was in my report. Much information was never covered.He yawned through the entire appointment. Checked his watch occasionally. Looked as if he wanted to be somewhere else.I gained no new knowledge or insight into my condition. All I got was a prescription to a med I had previously tried, that was not effective. He said "Let's see if this works this time." Great!I won't return.Was a waste of my time (and apparently his).I get better help from my GP.
