        Established in 1999, Newtown Recreation is a nonprofit, family-oriented youth athletic association that provides various athletic programs for children. It also offers several sports programs that encourage team play, sportsmanship, individual s development and parental participation. Newtown Recreation organizes baseball practice sessions, leagues and tournaments. It provides coaching for various sports, such as soccer, flag football, basketball, golf, lacrosse, T-ball and tennis. The association additionally organizes various camps for school-age students that focus on team building activities, games, and arts and crafts. Newtown Recreation is located in Alpharetta, Ga., and works to meet the recreational needs of individuals, coaches and parents.
