Bob Raught Auto Repair

My transmission was acting weird. I went to the dealer but the new car warranty had recently expired. Up until then, I had always used the dealer. The dealer tells me I need a new transmission & it’s going to cost around $5K and doing a rebuilt was not possible. Wanting a second opinion a friend told me to try "'Bob Raught Auto Repair" near San Mateo & Cutler. They told me I did not need a new transmission-it was fine & that when I did need one it could be rebuilt. I can’t remember what was really wrong with the car-something simple; however, the transmission went 5 years before needing major work! Honesty is an invaluable recommendation for an auto mechanic & Raught’s shop & staff are honest and very knowledgeable.
