Dentures
When teeth are missing, the surrounding bone begins to shrink. This unhealthy bones loss can make your jawline recede. Oral Surgery

Jaw Surgery
Chin augmentation, or mentoplasty/ Genioplasty, is a surgical procedure that has helped thousands of people improve their appearance by altering the contours of their faces. The best candidates for chin augmentation are individuals with a receding chin and a normal dental bite. If a bite dysfunction is evident it may be necessary to undergo jaw surgery in conjunction with mentoplasty.
Tooth Extractions
Surgically removing the affected tooth is the most common method of treatment. When the tooth is partially or fully erupted it may be taken out by a dentist by simple extraction. When the tooth is impacted (trapped in the gum or jawbone) an oral and maxillofacial surgeon may have to divide the tooth into sections before removal. With most surgical extractions an incision is made in the gum and the tooth is extracted in one piece or in sections and stitches are placed.

Orthodontics
People who may benefit from corrective jaw surgery include those with an improper bite resulting from misaligned teeth and/or jaws. In some cases, the upper and lower jaws may grow at different rates. Injuries and birth defects also affect jaw alignment. While orthodontics can usually correct bite, or “occlusion,” problems when only the teeth are misaligned, corrective jaw surgery may be necessary to correct the misalignment of the jaws.
Invisalign Orthodontics
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you achieve the confident smile that you've alwats wanted. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
Braces
Your orthodontist and oral surgeon work together to evaluate your problem and come up with a treatment plan. The orthodontist will determine how braces can prepare you for surgery and the oral surgeon will perform the procedure. Before treatment begins, a complete history is taken and x-rays of your mouth and skull may be ordered. Casts are usually made if the teeth and photographs taken for later comparisons. Before any work is done, you may be advised to visit your general dentist for a cleaning and to treat any other problems that you may have. Prior to the surgery, braces will be positioned in your mouth by your orthodontist who will watch your progress very carefully. The braces are worn for several months, but the time varies from each individual. When your orthodontist and oral surgeon have determined that your teeth have moved into the correct position, the surgery will be scheduled.
