Cask n' Cleaver Steakhouse

My husband and I have dined here several times and have always enjoyed it. We go especially for special occasions, but are now coming more often. The food is excellent as well as the service. Love the atmosphere (rustic with views of a charming garden with waterfall.) Nice salad buffet. Fave dish for lunch is the blue cheese burger. Reservations are available but not required. We've never had to wait for a table. Plenty of parking. I believe children would be welcome.

The ahi poke on the menu drew me in but it was downhill from there. While the ahi seemed fresh enough it was lacking a ponzu or similar sauce. I ordered a smothered Bleu burger and while it was cooked correctly (med rare) it was lacking in flavor. The kids mac n cheese seemed like box made that had sat in the fridge for a week before being reheated. You can have the all you can eat salad bar but let's be honest, one trip is all you'll want. I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
