Plate work on and dipped my metal handles was first rate . It was a great experience to deal with John the manager.

Great experience with company I will definitely be using them again. Process was couple weeks but it was a lot detail with the metal finish . Bigger company in the metro Philadelphia .

I own an old Porsche, and I take every repair and upgrade project very seriously , John at Frankford Plating did a fantastic job on my car, I would recommend this company, they do quality work, John Israel , Brooklyn N.Y.

What a horrible experience I had with FP & Owner Jon andd his ignorant rude father.

I had a set of roof rails from a 2010 SUV where the paint was peeling off. I took them to FP and they were plated in about 6 weeks. in less than a year, the chrome was bubbling and lots of surface rust all over.

I took them back to FP in the beginning in June '16. After 11 weeks of stalling (weather too hot, fire marshall inspection... blah, blah, blah), I pick them up and the rails looked worse then when I dropped them off....several holes blown completely through the steel!

Jon tells me that the only way to repair it is powder coating. I ask for my $ back and I'll go on my way. He says he can't do that, he has too much into the parts. He tells me I'll be completely satisfied.

Friday I call him and he says they are done....5 weeks after I dropped them off. I asked how they looked, and he says "there are still lots of blemishes". Sure enough, I pick them up today and the rails look horrible, not fit to be installed on the truck.

Bottom line is that these guys are terrible business men and not true craftsmen. You're rolling the dice with these guys if you are leaving your parts with them.

just had some vette parts done for a 1958. what a job
they did. had some pot metal and those pieces look great. real happy with my experience. used some other local platers and had bad experiences. my friend had some bike parts done and he was happy as well. recommend these guys

Big mistake going to John, you get told exactly what you want to hear with no sincerity behind it. A commitment means nothing to the pathological lier running the shop. A 6 week job turned into 8 months, and fearful of their destruction or disappearance a claim to our insurance company for theft by deception was filed. Once retrieved by them there was none of the work completed that was claimed to be in process..... you may have good luck with simple, small parts, but giving them serious auto parts that are near impossible be replaced is a huge mistake you will regret. Very sick deceptive business ethics and a psycho mind to go with it.

Don't believe any good reviews, they are likely from family posing as customers or those with simple nickel and dime parts a child could do. Sick and possibly a dangerous place to go if you want your parts back.

Read all the Horror stories.....contacted the co., sent custom made bars for chroming....Johnathon was point man, Shipped them on a Monday 12/1/14 chromed and polished, shipped them back on Friday.....Received them on Monday 12/08/14. Pristine condition. He even trusted me to put the check in the mail after I inspected them. Don't know what all the bad mouthing is about, he did right by me!!!

Took 2 years and 2 months to try and chrome my bumper, I had to settle for half of it chrome and the other halv nickle. Johnathan said that is the was it was going to be and he could not do any better.

My friend went to Frankford to take care of some parts and he constantly talks about the great work they did. I took a few misc parts to see the work they do and I was thoroughly impressed.

Each time I bring a new project the frankford plating they never turn it down no matter how difficult

These guy do exceptional work! I love the service and the results of any challenge I bring them.

Frankfort plating has exceeded my expectations. I came in for a consultation just to see what they could do with my Ashton Martin bumpers. They were pitted and twisted. They gave me an amazing price and did a excellent job with an even better finish.
