Provided by SuperpagesThis is a great bakery but very expensive. They also sometimes need more people helping in the actual bakery (as opposed to the restaurant which is well staffed). I have ordered two types of cakes, carrot without nuts, they decorated it with a desert scene, a cowboy and a mule; and their beehive cake.(decorated with bees and flowers) Both were excellent

Provided by SuperpagesAmazing Bakery. It's delcious, the service is impecable, and they offer an impressive range of products. Don't miss the Deli either! Also, try thier "signature" coffee drinks. Really fancy espresso shots that are fun to have with a dessert.
I asked a few questions about baked goods. but unfortunately, none of the people selling it knew anything about the products they were selling. No manager, apparently on duty, to answer my questions, and they suggested to me to come back, at four in the morning to talk to one of the bakers, he he. Since I knew what kind of dogh product I was looking for, (despite employees), I went with the apple turnover. Apricot glaze is used for keeping ability, as well as eye appeal, unfortunately it was gooped on the pastry and very unevenly. It was a little too light in color, but I let it slide. But once I bit into it, I realized... out of the thousand layers the pastry was supposed to have, it had three, and the rest was dough, unless you want to get sick, by eating dough with egg in it, I suggest another product, but maybe i'm wrong, maybe they have made the proper adjustements since december. I had no problem with the way I was treated, everyone was very friendly, and it's a very comfortable atmosphere, I just wish I could have paid for a properly baked pastry, and wish the people selling the products, had more knowledge of the products, they are selling.
The bakery is outstanding and beautifully show cased. Although I feel the prices are really high for the sandwich you are getting. I paid 8 and some change for half a sandwich and small drink. Although it was very good, great place to have a small lunch meeting or catch up with an old friend. Not a good place to go if you are on a diet!! The pasteries are too tempting.. :)

Provided by DexKnowsThe donuts, muffins, etc. are just the best. They make pretty good coffee, too. If you're in Olympia, you should definitely try it. I haven't had any of their lunches, but the place is always packed, so I would imagine they're not bad.

Provided by SuperpagesWow! You can sum it up with just that one word, and my 2 year old had it pegged as she continued to announce her amazement as she repeated it over and over. The gals behind the counter, and even a few in the back, giggled as she gushed. Wagner's is a full service bakery with an amazing assortment of delightful goodies! Even us "big kids" have a hard time resisting! Try stopping in for a deli sandwich and snicker doodle with your kids or your best friend! Need a wedding cake? THIS IS THE PLACE! I highly recommend this bakery, whether your looking for cinnamon bread, baklava or a birthday cake.CNM - Lacey, WA
