Founded in 1879, the United Hospital Fund of New York is a health services research and philanthropic organization that provides a variety of health care policies and support programs. It undertakes research and policy analysis to improve the financing and delivery of health care in hospitals, clinics and nursing homes. The organization supports the New York Society for Health Planning and Primary Care Development Corporation. The United Hospital Fund of New York s library collects information on health services. It also conducts annual fundraising campaigns and offers health insurance, chronic care, and aging and health programs. The organization works in the areas of health insurance data and analysis. The United Hospital Fund of New York s has received The Community Service Society of New York award.
