I have been going to La Mascota for years. I absolutely love the green chili cheese tamales. I've also brought in their tamales to work when we had a fundraiser. We sold out with people asking for more. Their bakery goods are delicious as well.

These are the best tamales! Moist, delicious. I am 52 years old, and I can remember when we were kids my mom telling my dad, " only get the tamales from La Mascota"! My mom is a great cook; she always would tell us she knows how to make tamales from scratch. But when we would ask her to make some, she would say, "we'll just buy them from La Mascota". They are that good. When our relatives come from Mexico, they feast on tamales from La Moscota. Be warned; during the Holidays get there early. I get there at 5:30 AM and have to wait in line. Get there after 4 PM and you may find that they have sold out.

Provided by SuperpagesTheir bread and everything they make I rated it delicious but the service you get from the owners/people who manage it not the regular employees is horrible. They have no people skills not even when they answer their phone. I have taken my business elswhere; they don't care anyways they have enough customers that take their bad service for good food and never complain.

Provided by SuperpagesI drove from Ontario to purchase 4 dozen of the green tamales with cheese. I arrived home with 4 dozen chicken tamales instead .I called and spoke to Rose so that they may correct the error. Over the phone she promised to give me a free dozen tamales(in addition to the 4 dozen green chile and cheese tamales). She asked for my phone # and stated she would write a Note near the phone (she wasn't going to be there) What I discovered the next day as I drove to pick up my "promised tamales" was they they DID NOT give a Darn about my situation. Rose never left a note (she REALLY cared about customer service) and the attendant really didn't care about my request. As I returned the wrong order of tamales over the counter, she Smiled as she handed me Zero tamales. I guess she thought I was a liar.As a biz owner, the customer is Numero 1.On your next visit double check your order - or you may Never return due to the "bad taste they'll leave in your mouth."Hector
