i am 22 weeks pregnant. Have been seen by 1 doctor once. My 20 week appointment was messed up. They "FORGOT" to schedule my ultrasound which was already 3 days overdue and wanted me to come back a week later. 2 days ago i was calling them because i was having severe cramps. All that was said was "leave a message for the nurse". No answer. Called them a day later again because it got worse. "Leave a message for the nurse". Then i got told to go to the hospital because they dont have the necessary equipment. Well turns out that i've been having blood and bacteria in my urine and i am now on antibiotics. Thanks to cape fear valley obgyn, who NEVER tested my urine, i've been having this since a while which caused the severe cramping! RUDE and UNPROFFESIONAL!!!!

Terrible place to go!!!! Sham! !! Third pregnancy. I know what goes on at prenatal apts they do nothing. 30 weeks they did 1 urine culture at the beginning measured my belly one time. All new how I escaped my ultrasound at 20 wks Mt reply to which was ma'am I cine to the apts you guys schedule me for. Had a cough, fly line symptoms. Didn't listen to my lungs just told me it wasa lingering cough. Very rude staff not helpful at all even when just trying to geta letter to see the dang dentist. Horrible. Switched my care

Nice place, pleasant doctors. The only issue I have are the waiting times. They make you wait in the main waiting room then take vitals and make you sit in a smaller waiting room with knees touching other patients. I honestly don't know how these pregnant women don't get worked up over that. After waiting at least an hour in this second waiting room, then you go to the room and wait for the doctor for at least 35 more minutes before being seen for 5-15 minutes and then put back in the knee waiting room and then paperwork to be seen again. Ultimately 3 hours to see a doctor for 15 minutes. Like I said , nice place, nice doctors, terrible horrible waiting times.

Seriously, if I could give this practice 0 stars, I would! They have ABSOLUTELY NO compassion! It is as if they just go through the motions. They are in such a hurry to rush you out of there after you have waited sometimes hourS (plural) past your appointment. Damn, who got to spend more than 5 minutes with the doctor that put them so far behind????

I have a high risk pregnancy (I knew this going in after my first baby) and they seem completely uninterested in any of the symptoms. They have not monitored the situation AT ALL. If it wasn't for the fact that after starting a high risk pregnancy with them and all that it entails (no other doctor would follow me after them starting) I would have switched!!!!

Today for instance, I told the doctor that I had some burning and her exact answer was, "Hmm, I don't know what that could be. See you next week!"

I had to make a trip to the hospital for something related to the complications of the high risk and the midwife from the practice was rude, to say the least! Her non-existent bedside manor even shocked my husband! If she is on call when I deliver I will be sure to return the attitude!!!

Maybe I am comparing apples to oranges because I had an AMAZING experience with my last pregnancy and the doctors, but I am COMPLETELY unimpressed.

I am pretty sure the ladies at the reception desk as well as triage nurses feel if they smile their faces will crack or something. They don't make eye contact, they interact with any of your concerns, they really just seem to go through the motions!

It reminds me a lot of a free clinic, which there is NOTHING wrong with, where they do as little as medically necessary but I have GREAT insurance that pays for care that I just don't feel like I have received!
