They placed a tongue crib and braces in my daughter's mouth on a Thursday (photos to prove it) Within 48 hours I reached out to the office on Saturday and was told she could come in on Monday. Shortly after speaking to the technician, I called back due to my daughter crying in excruciating pain (twice) and reached the emergency line. I never received a call back from the emergency line (handled by the office manager) after a couple of attempts so I rushed her to CHOP where they immediately gave her pain meds and removed tongue crib. I spoke to the office manager who was extremely nasty and rude on Monday. He scheduled a follow-up appointment, without my consent, knowing I couldn't make it. He later used the missed appointment as an excuse to retain my entire deposit, among other lies. I've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. I did speak to the orthodontist who said he was a perfectionist and never made mistakes. He stated, in front of my child that it must have been something she did to it, mind you she wasn't able to eat or drink anything from the time she had this device place until she had it removed. I'm fighting this issue and can't express enough for anyone even considering to go to the office to be aware...very aware. After inserting a defective tongue crib and telling me on Monday they couldn't reply to my emergency calls because they (office manager) was at the beach with his family and also told me the offered me a solution, which was to bring her in on Monday even though she was in excruciating pain, gums bleeding, swollen and puss oozing from her gums (pictures to prove it). Would you be ok with this service. The office staff is very pleasant but please understand that if you have an issue it's the office manager you have to deal with. Needless to say we are no longer patients there. To date I still receive calls for appointments when I've repeatedly asked to have all appointments removed from their system ever since disputing this issue.
