Provided by SuperpagesI am not sure of the hype. After this restaurant was shown on food network, it's popularity blew up.The food is just okay, but the lines make it all just not worth the wait. You'll have to book wayyy in advance to get a seat. It's in a great location and nice setting just not worth it unless you have a few hours to kill.

Awesome meal; great ambience; excellent unique place for a first date and only minutes from the stadiums and Fox.

Eaten here twice. First time the waitress was so rude, I felt like calling the cops. Second time the server was OK

I had the similar experience. the staff have an uneven service and i guess they like some customers over another. maybe judging by looks? if you are not dressed cool then you won't be treated well. it's a pity.

Provided by SuperpagesFound this place on the internet and thought we would give it a try and were very happy. The atmosphere is casual and fun with a centrally located bar. We had to wait about 30 minutes on a Sunday night. The bar has a good selection of beers on tap. And the BBQ is really, really good. My brisket was deliciously moist, flavorful and had great marbling. My friend had the St. Louis ribs and liked them too. And then the sides (cole slaw, mac/cheese, green beans) really topped off the meal to make it great! Also liked the selection of bbq sauces on each table. If they would add more seating, then I would give it 5 stars.

My husband, son and I went to slows last night and I do believe it was the best bar b que I've had. My husband and I just returned from North Carolina and it was better than any we had there. It was crowded but we were able to get a booth within the 30 minutes we were quoted. My son is a vegan and they had a soup he could eat. Also, asked if the apple sauce was vegan and the waiter went to extra lengths to find out for us. I would recommend this restaurant to any one looking for a good place to eat while downtown.

Provided by SuperpagesMac and Cheese is really really good. As a vegetarian, I wouldn't have tried the BBQ dishes, but the Hoppin Jack is perfect for those that are. Enjoy!
