Mutt Puddles

I've taken my shelties her for a few years and never had a bad exsperiance. They do a crazy good job on the lion cuts they do and my pups smell so good. Thank you for job well done.

I took my dog to get groomed and never had a problem. This time was different. I got a call from groomer that it eas taking longer to groom him.I got there and the groomer told me there is fluid coming out of his ear.It was a dark brown color.I got home. and looked again it was medicine. mixed with blood!She cut his ear and tryed to stop the bleeding.Then I checked him over. and his side was also cut.Found out there are new owners.I will never go back there. again.There was a owner listening to what she was saying to me.He must of known what was going .

I took my cocker to get groomed and I got a phone. call that it was taking longer to groom him.I picked him up and the groomer told me He has a skin disorder.I took him to the vet. and the groomer cut his ear and foot really bad.It was no skin disorder. It was a groomer that had no training in grooming and shold not be groomng .She also cut his side.I payed 600 to put him back togeater I found out that there are new owners and it has gone to shit.I will never go there again!!!

I have been a customer there for years-only
doing self -serve washes for my puppies. Never had a bad experience until going to bathe the dogs and being told that the groomers were almost done for the day(1 and half hours before posted closing time-so there would be no more self-serve!!) I told the girl at the front that the sign in the window does nothing to inform people at their homes. While it is more convenient to have a place to clean up bath messes, maybe I don't need their services-since they don't value my business. Too bad -I used to think they were improving the business. I guess the new owners just want to be open when they "feel like it."
Truly if a business is going to post a sign that you need to call ahead before you go to their location, maybe they should change the posted hours so no false advertising is involved !!

Never will take my dog there again!

Took my 13 year old Persian to them who loved being groomed! They called me an hour later to say, And I quote! "Remember the Persian you brought in?" My response: " Yes, My Jasmine!" Them: "Oh she's dead!" I was told she was almost done and then she let out a meow and keeled over! WTF!? REALLY!! In retrospect, I wish I had, had the autopsy done! Especially since there was no apology! Just a defensive response! This has never happened before! Well, thank goodness they at least gave me her hair cut for free! PS: They still charged me for the other cat I had brought to them and never made any follow up call to me to see how I was!

I love the thornton shop. Its a very ma and pa type business. Ive been bringing my dogs to their shop for a very long time and the owner Mary is an excellent groomer. Ive never had any complaints.

We took our Pomeranian in for a trim and when we picked her up she had been shaved! When i refused to pay the groomer told me its just hair it grows back! Not only did she still try to charge us, she didnt even apologize for shaving my dog bald! I would NOT recommend them!

I've taken my puppy here before and they used to do a fabulous job, but the owners recently spilt the business and now I'm fairly sure that she grooms drunk. Cut was uneven and she took almost 4 hours. Called my little boy dog a girl, and I don't think she washed him after she shaved him. I dont think she hurt my dog, but the thought that she could have out of simple neglect scares me. I'll never return and highly suggest you do not take your pets here.

They butchered my little shih tzu! His cut is choppy, his ears are uneven and he was covered in hair when I went to pick him up. The owner is who performed his groom and she was miserable to deal with, rude, flippant and unprofessional. She had my boy dog in a pink bandana and kept referring to him as a her. How the hell she spent 3 hours grooming him and didn't notice he was a boy is beyond me. The groom took 3 hours and looked like a 5 year old did it. When I asked why they owner and her husband had piss poor excuses for everything, even blaming the clippers for why his cut was so choppy. I arrived early to pick my dog up and waited in my car until the owners husband came out and lit a cigarette next to my car and hollered "come here" at me. Over all a disgustingly bad experience. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!

I have heard that the sisters that owned mutt puddles have split their business. Thank goodness because I would not even call or go there when the older rude lady was working. Mary is the best and she always does a great job grooming and taking care of my my precious.

I have read these reviews and honestly, there has to be more than meets the eye here. I have been taking my dogs to Mutt Puddles in Thornton for years. The owner, Mary or her husband would even pick my dogs up and bring them back home looking beautiful if I had no way to take them there myself. They treat my dogs with love and care. They do a wonderful job and I always refer my friends to them. I would not trust anyone else to groom my dogs.

The owner grooms drunk! She crushed my dogs trachea by choking him! Then she bled his toenails so badly he limped for days!

I used to go there for my groomer until she quit because of unfit conditions. But two of the times I was there the owner had dogs on her table and they just fell off because she walked away. One actually hung there for a moment while the other girls scrambled to get it back up. I will never go there again.
