My family and I have been going to dinner here since they opened. The staff is so welcoming and knows us each time we come in. It is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the city. They have a small bar and dinning area because most of their business is pick up and delivery. They also offer outdoor seating on nice days. Visit them for dinner sometime and you won't be disappointed! I have had the lasagna (which is out of this world!), eggplant sub, Italian sub, cheese tortellini and chicken parm. My kids LOVE the spaghetti and meatballs. Even though there is not a kids menu, they will offer your child a child's portion. My kids also love the meatball sub. We have never had a bad experience here with service or food. They have good beer on tap and the house red is priced well and is very good! If you have finished your first glass of wine and are not sure if you should go for that second, they will offer you a half glass and charge you half. The pizza is amazing! If you call for delivery, you may wait a while on a busy night, but it is well worth it!

Best pizza I've had in Atlanta. While the restaurant is a little small it has s great vibe and friendly staff. Garlic bread is delicious as are the Greek salads. Rotating taps and wine selections. Family friendly.

I've been a waitress myself for many years and the waitstaff here is super rude. Our waitress made nasty comments about us only ordering one soft drink, did not split the check as we asked, was sarcastic and told another patron to "please move out of her way that he was really not that thin" and we waited more than an hour for our pizza. We were fixing to cancel the order and walk out by the time it was ready and it was not even good pizza as it turned out. It was our first time there and we will never go back. Unless you like sarcasm and overpriced pizza, don't go to Avellino's.
