Nisa's Thai

Nisa's has transformed the space that housed the former Thai restaurant Mahachai in Canton Center - beautiful lighting, new granite bartop, muted wall colors. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in to order takeout on a Friday night. This was our first time at Nisa's since they opened, so we each ordered our favorite Thai standard - Pad Thai. It was moist, light, and had a very nice flavor. A good amount of chicken, though not overpowering for the portion size. And the shrimp in mine was very tasty. Service was very fast - I barely had time to settle in on the bar stool when the bag came out of the kitchen. I did witness a nice touch - one of the diners wanted to check out a game on the newly installed flat screen with satellite service. Nobody knew which channel it was on, so they brought out the new channel listing pamphlet and the diner found the channel. We were very impressed with the flavors - we'll definitely be back!
