While a student in law school, Ms. Schochor served as the Executive Managing Editor of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal (a national publication), was admitted to the United States Court of Federal Claims as a student-attorney representing clients seeking awards from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, and worked as a law clerk for Stein, Mitchell and Mezines LLP. A lifelong committed community volunteer, Ms. Schochor offered her time weekly as a tutor at the Maya Angelou Public Charter School, regularly served meals from DC Central Kitchen’s mobile food truck, and volunteered in the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (known now as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center).
