Never Hair Again

I have been going to Lou Ann for over 10 years. She has always provided the most quality service. I have seen her for electrolysis, derma plane, chemical peels, waxing, and facials. I've not once left my appointment unhappy! My skin always looks refreshed and rejuvenated after each appointment. Her prices are VERY low compared to nearby electrolysis. She also sells skin care products but does not charge more than retail price. She is an expert about skin, hair, and products. I only ask her for advice on what products to use for my skin. Lou Ann always remembers personal details and asks about my family, job, etc. WHY WOULD YOU GO TO ANYONE ELSE?!

July 6, 2018: As if the racism, bigotry and tone-deafness wasn't obvious, this business and the privileged owner called the police on me, a woman of color wanting a refund. I expected this as this is what racists do to threaten and silence people of color so they can continue to steal and scam. She is now saying that she was negligent and gave me the "wrong brochure" that has falsehoods printed (negligence and falsehoods make the contract null and void), saying her prices have increased by significant amounts (just for me?), wants me to sign a notarized form saying I slandered her (so she can sue me later), delete my Google review or she will sue me. I know my first amendment rights and consumer complaints are not considered harrassment per Colorado law.

Background: I had gotten electrolysis done at two other place 4 times (once a week for 4 weeks) before I went to Louann. I chose her because she offered a package. She asked to pay $580 in cash and I did.

During my first visit, I noticed that she was plucking my hairs - every legitimate electrologist will tell you that you are not supposed to pluck/tweeze the hairs as it hinders the electrolysis process. She got angry that I was questioning her validity.

On her pamphlet, she says that she is a member of the American Electrology Association, according to their website and after confirming by contacting them, turns out that she is not. She called me a liar and a swine for bringing forth these observations. The AEA and BBB are well aware of her but they cannot take legal action on my behalf. She is now denying me services, which is fine but she refuses to refund me. I truly can't fathom that she has this scheme set up to steal from poor women and minorities. She knows people can't afford an attorney so she continues to take advantage of people.

As of June 20, she has received cease and desist orders but nothing has changed yet.

If you read this review and see her, please ask her to return my hard-earned money.

Lou Ann is very knowledgeable. Her work is done in a clean environment. She recommends products that are best for your skin type and easy to find on the market. Her prices are affordable.

I like to get facials because they help keep my skin clear, but couldn't afford to go to most salons. I also didn't like going to beauty schools because they are "practicing" and really damaged my skin one time. So when someone told me about Lou Ann I had nothing to lose. She is affordable (which is huge for me because I have a small fixed income). Lou Ann helps keep my skin in good shape. She's introduced me to a skin routine that has literally changed the texture and one of my skin. Less breakouts, more smiles. She takes her time to do the job right. Go to this lady!

I have had problems removing chest hair for years. I have had electrolysis from several estheticians with no success. When I came to Lou Ann, I was discouraged. Because Lou Ann takes her time to really evaluate the causes as to why a particular treatment is not working, she tried several things. I am happy to say that today my chest is hair free because of Lou Ann's approach to electrolysis.



And she is very affordable, much more so than other skin care providers I've visited in the past. I can now where low cut shirts with confidence and without all the worrying and fuss.

I have gone to Lou Ann for over 3 years for my skin care needs. Lou Ann is friendly, professional and very helpful. She does not sell you things you don't need, and gives you the relevant information you will need to care the best for your skin. I've received both chemical peels and European facials from her on a consistent basis.



I have acne prone skin, and need the facials to keep my skin on its best behavior. Lou Ann takes her time, does a VERY thorough job (facials can be time consuming, and she doesn't rush). What I like most about Lou Ann are her affordable prices. I used to go to a medical day spa, and the facials there were literally double what Lou Ann charges.



It's also really important to have a skin care provider that listens. Lou Ann takes into account your frustrations, your former success rate for treating whatever ailment you're coming in for, and she explores all options for successful treatment.

I have enjoyed going to Never Hair Again for many years. It is how I treat myself to a little pampering, or for skin care treatments. Lou Ann is very professional, dependable, encouraging and friendly. Her home hosts a warm atmosphere and it always smells fantastic.

Lou Ann has a great bedside manner. Very personable and knowledgeable. She gives a wide range of services ranging from electolysis to facials and different beauty treatments. Very prompt and has flexible scheduling. Sanitary. Works out of home. Does have a small tame dog that moves freely in home and is allowed to come in treatment room. Good amount of products available for purchase as well but is not a heavy saleswoman.
