Their fairly constant advertisements talk about how a new patient's first exam and xrays are free. They billed my insurance for them, and since their full mouth Xray isn't covered, they decided to add it to financing that I had to do later when I decided to do a root canal and crown, that they gave me a "discount" for since I had insurance that already wasn't going to cover it. I'm not sure which I'm more upset at, Abbeville Dentistry for billing me 3 months later for something they advertise being free, or my insurance for denying it in the first place.

The first time they saw my son and it was ok. I liked the Dentist, but the hygienist took my 8 year old back there and acted like I was intruding when I insisted on going back with him. Then she just did a flouride treatment on him without asking if I wanted that because the insurance covered it. My husband and I went two weeks later and were very disappointed. We just wanted to get our teeth cleaned and instead, after an hour of X-rays and consultations they brought us a financial plan for a few fillings and suggested cleaning that were not covered or way above and beyond what insurance covered. When we told her we just wanted regular cleanings that day rather than be out $600 and three hours late to work and she was short and rude about it because we were not choosing the expensive deep cleanings she suggested. Needless to say, our teeth didn't get cleaned and we won't be going back.
